Happy 2020 everyone! What are your saving goals this year? On this post, let's talk about another option for you to save more. Have you heard about the Modified PAG-IBIG II or MP2 Program?
What is PAG-IBIG MP2 Program?- This is an optional saving scheme for PAG-IBIG members who want to save and earn higher dividends on top of their regular PAG-IBIG contributions.
How To Enroll in the PAG-IBIG MP2 Program Online
Requirements:
- Active PAG-IBIG members
- Members of pensioners who have at least 24 monthly contributions before retirement
On this post, I'll only tackle enrolling via online as this is the easiest one and based from my experience.
Steps:
- Go to www.pagibigfundservices.com
- Click on 'MP2 Enrollment System'
- Fill out the online form. To get your MID Number, call the 24/7 PAG-IBIG Hotline number 724-4244 then press 2.
- Read the terms & conditions before clicking the 'Submit' button.
- Once you click on 'Submit', you'll have a notification of submission is completed and you can now save and print-out the form.
- Read the terms and conditions before signing on the form.
- Choose the option on how you can remit to your MP2 savings. You can have it as a salary deduction so you need to pass a copy to your HR department.
- Or visit any PAG-IBIG branch and pass your printed form and pay the amount indicated.
Other FAQS:
- You can open several MP2 accounts just repeat the steps above.
- The minimum deposit is at P500 but you can increase it monthly.
- Initial payment should be done thru PAG-IBIG branch and then the succeeding payments can be done thru accredited payment channels.
- You can make succeeding payments thru GCash!
- PAG-IBIG MP2 enrollment can also be done via walk-in to any PAG-IBIG branches.
